Ariela Ranay-Jinich launched Olamim: Latin Jewish Belonging for Families. After a successful farm-based playgroup for Latin Jewish families in 2021, Ariela has continued to lead Olamim and with her team has built up a solid space where Latin Jewish families are seen, understood, and find Jewish community. B) In what ways has the nominee demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to their work in bridging divides?

As an ally, I have always been impressed by Olamim's focus on serving Latin Jewish families, wherever they are from, reducing the sense of isolation for Latin Jewish parents in the English speaking Jewish community. Community-based, up close research informs the work of Olamim.

C) How has the nominee's work impacted the Jewish community and beyond?

Olamim builds bridges with Latin Jews from numerous cultural and national backgrounds. Beyond the age appropriate and fun events, the professional development, and educational opportunities to raise awareness of this population.
