Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Brody

is dedicated to applying Jewish ethics to modern dilemmas. He is a prolific writer and columnist for the Jerusalem Post, the author of A Guide to the Complex: Contemporary Halakhic Debates, a National Jewish Book Award winner, and Ethics of Our Fighters: A Jewish View on War and Morality, both from Maggid Books. A graduate of Harvard College, he received rabbinic ordination from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate, an MA in Jewish philosophy at the Hebrew University, and his PhD from Bar Ilan University Law School. He is currently the executive director of Ematai, an organization dedicated to helping people navigate dilemmas regarding aging, end-of-life care, and organ donation.
